What is SearchApi?

SearchAPI MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol integration that connects AI assistants like Claude to SearchAPI’s real-time data tools. It lets supported MCP clients call SearchAPI tools directly, so assistants can search the web, compare flights, find hotels, and access other live data sources without leaving the chat or workflow. The integration is designed to work with any MCP client, with setup guidance specifically called out for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and Cursor. Users can configure it through the SearchAPI dashboard by copying their integration URL and adding it as an MCP server in their client. SearchAPI also offers a Remote MCP integration experience with preconfigured and customizable tool bundles.
