Unicorn Studio
A visual canvas for designing interactive WebGL motion — shaders, media and 3D — then shipping production components to any site.
What is Unicorn Studio?
Unicorn Studio is a no-code visual canvas for interactive web motion. Designers and creative developers combine 75+ effects — shaders, media, 3D and interaction — and stack them for unique results, driven by both time-based and interaction events (appear, scroll, hover, mousemove and more). A specialized Unicorn AI shader agent lets you create or edit effects in plain language. The runtime is a small (~49kb) JavaScript library built for fast load times, with a performance test suite to keep scenes smooth, and you can publish to Framer, Webflow, Figma or your own app via a JavaScript SDK, or export WebM/MP4 video and JSON. Everything runs in the browser and is saved to the cloud, approachable for beginners while still offering a code editor to write custom shaders for professionals.
Pros
- No-code visual workflow dramatically lowers the WebGL/shader learning curve
- Outputs real production components/SDK rather than just video, easy to embed
- AI shader agent helps non-specialists create and iterate effects
- Lightweight runtime and performance tooling protect Core Web Vitals
- Free tier grants access to all 75+ effects
Cons
- Free plan caps publishes and adds a Unicorn logo; commercial use needs Legend
- Most advanced exports (no-watermark, JSON, HD video) sit behind the paid plan
- Heavily custom logic still benefits from knowing shaders/GLSL
- Best-in-class results still need design sensibility and tuning

Who is it for
Motion Designers
Compose award-style WebGL effects in a visual canvas without writing shader code by hand.
No-code Builders
Embed interactive scroll and hover experiences into Framer or Webflow sites through the JavaScript SDK.
Creative Developers
Prototype shader and 3D scenes visually, then export JSON, use the JS SDK or write custom GLSL.
Marketing & Brand Teams
Turn a motion concept into embeddable code or WebM/MP4 clips for client pitches and campaigns.
Product Teams
Build interactive configurators and data-visualization motion while keeping scenes performant.
